F.I.T. Challenge in Wrentham MA

I wanted to give you an update on the FIT MUD CHALLENGE that I competed in on Saturday.

There were 1076 contestants competing in waves throughout the day. Each wave had about 100 people competing. My neighbor Kevin and I were in the 1:30 heat.

It was a fun time. The 10 foot walls were a bit tough (being 5’5) to get a leg up but I was able to do it. The monkey bars were fun as well as getting through the water filled dumpsters. It was a fairly flat run but there were some hills and a couple of steep areas too.

All in all it was a good first race for me. I finished 9th overall and 1st for my age group.

What I noticed – Many runners were having problems with the obstacles while many of the muscle folks were having problems with the running. It only proves that you really need all aspects of fitness. Muscles, cardio and flexibility. I was surprised how much flexibility played a part. (crawling in tubes, climbing 15″ walls, crawling under walls etc.

BB programs do work all aspects of fitness. Reminder Turbo Fire, and T25 challenge pack sales end this week.
